Abstract

  1. This study aims to analyze and examine the effectiveness of implementing the hadith memorization method in improving children’s memory at TKQ Raudhatul Jannah, North Tambun, Bekasi Regency. The research employed a qualitative approach focusing on early childhood students at TKQ Raudhatul Jannah Bekasi. The research questions addressed in this study are: (1) How is the process of implementing the hadith memorization method to improve children’s memory? (2) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the hadith memorization method? and (3) What techniques help children perform talaqi (hadith memorization) more easily? This study used a qualitative research method, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings revealed that: (1) the implementation of the hadith memorization method successfully improved children’s memory development, reaching the categories of “Developing as Expected” and “Developing Very Well,” indicating positive progress among early childhood learners at TKQ Raudhatul Jannah; (2) the study identified nine supporting factors and five inhibiting factors affecting the implementation of the memorization method; and (3) several effective techniques for enhancing children’s memory were identified, including gradual repetition to strengthen memory retention, melodic recitation to create enjoyable learning experiences, gestures and signals to facilitate associations, educational games to increase motivation, storytelling to help children understand the meaning of hadith, and parental support to maintain consistency in memorization activities.
